Accessibility Statement
The Echo Project wants this site to be usable by everyone, regardless of ability or the technology used to browse it.
1. Our commitment
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines where practical, across layout, colour contrast, and navigation.
2. What we’ve done
- Used clear heading structure and readable type sizes throughout
- Ensured interactive elements (menus, filters, forms) can be reached and used with a keyboard alone
- Respected reduced motion preferences for anyone sensitive to animation
- Provided descriptive alt text for meaningful images
- Kept colour contrast high between text and backgrounds
3. Release forms
Release forms are signed on paper, in person, and we read them through with anyone who would prefer that. If you need a form in a larger print size, or in another format, ask and we will provide it.
4. Known limitations
Some embedded video content depends on third party players, such as YouTube, which have their own accessibility features and limitations outside our direct control.
5. Feedback
If you find any part of this site difficult to use, let us know at bryan@theechoproject.co.uk. We’ll do what we can to fix it and welcome the feedback.
